Ruled lines in black chalk for the inscription at the top, in brown ink, etiam in doc- / trina multa / intricata / inveniuntur / set facile / expediun- / tur (‘Even in learning, many tangled things are found, but they are easily untangled’).
Inscribed below, in brown ink, Implicita explicat / Hic etiam reperis ubi cuncta videntur aperta, / Implicita? et studiis expedienda tuis? / Sed bene : vim magnam quod non adhibere necesse est ; / Non erit hac ingens explicuisse labor.
