Physical description

Hand-coloured etching of a satirical scene depicting a caricature of a Napoleonic figure in front of a burning plinth, with a skull and various human organs on the pyre, swearing enmity to England who is represented as a baby before a carriage with a small toilet-like seat and an eagle motif, which is pulled along by two monkeys and flanked by two grotesque women. A crowd of unhappy faces look on from the background. Lettered with text in speech bubbles and the title, artist's name and publisher's details.
