Labels and date

William Clyne Farquharson (1906-72) was employed at John Walsh Walsh from 1924 probably until 1951. This example, 'Arches', is one of the two earliest designs known to be by him and this is the only example which has so far come to light. Launched in 1934 or 1935 it was immediately followed by another pattern which became known as 'Birds'. []
