Brief description
Chiselled steel saddle-axe, the head chiselled and overlaid with gold, with designs of birds and flowers within cartouches, and the heads of a man and woman. The maker's name 'Lotf 'Ali Gholam' is overlaid in gold on the underside of the axe-head.
