Physical description

1. A palanquin-bearer and his wife.
2. A fisherman and his wife; the man, with a bag strung round his waist, carrying a fish and a net; the woman, with a basket of fish on her head, holding a baby on her hip.
3. Basket makers; the man, with a large basket-work box on his head, grasping a knife; the woman holding hand-pankas (fans).
One in a volume of thirty folios depicting castes, occupations, methods of cultivation and procession scenes.
