A cylindrical amulet box or ga'u containing rolled printer prayers. The shape of the box is typical of western Tibet and was worn around the neck. It forms part of a complete set of traditional female costume and jewellery from Ngari, western Tibet (IS 6-24-1999).

A cylindrical silver amulet box or ga'u chugsung, in two halves containing a roll of printed prayers in Tibetan U chen script. Made and used in western Tibet, Ca.1960-70
