Vicke (Victor) Lindstrand (1904-83) was one of the most versatile of Kosta's designers where he was Art Director from 1950-73. Before that he had worked at Orrefors from 1928-40 as well as designing for Karlskrona Porslinsfabrik and Upsala-Ekeby pottery during the 1930s-40s. This bowl, in a 'soft form' typical of the 1950s, shows Lindstrand's work in an international style and technique close to Italian glass of the same period.
