Box of hammered brass, cylindrical, with inscriptions, floral bands and medallions. Straight sides with hinge now missing. Decorated with many features such as ducks and lotus flowers in medallions which became quite popular during the reign of the Mamluk Sultan al-Nasir MohammadLarge Thuluth inscriptions. Holes have been drilled into the top and bottom possibly for a further attachment.
