Copper dish engraved and formerly tinned, the background filled in with black substance. The dish bears the arms of a Mamluk cup-bearer. Circular with ring foot and rim with scalloped edge. In the centre is an armorial medallion surrounded by a band of inscriptions encircled by lattice work on a fret ground. The hollow side is decorated with strapwork and inscriptions divided by fret medallions.
