Rectangular pen-box. Design on lid features three medallions with lotus flowers and inscriptions. Inside lid features arabesque design inlaid with silver. Inscription on inside lid is upside down, lid may have been fitten improperly or design error. Around inscription are birds in medallions, y-shaped motifs in smaller medallions; similar design inside base.
