A fox hunting scene. To the left of the image, two hounds are pursuing a fox, whilst four men with horses are following them. There is a crevice in the ground between the hunters and the hounds, which one of the hunters has successfully cleared. In the foreground, a man is falling from his horse as it stumbles. Behind them, a dark-coloured horse is refusing to jump the crevice and in the distance a pale-coloured horse is galloping towards it. There are a number of palm trees to the left of the image and in the far distance a turreted building is visible.
