This chair is inspired by Ming dynasty furniture. Each individual member has a simple and rounded outline and are assembled using the mortise-and-tenon method without the use of nails. The two arms stretching out from the splat resemble a shawl that seems to gently enwrap the woman sitting on the chair doing her make-up.
