Cream coloured drinking mug with cream handle, the body of the mug decorated with a panel showing performing bears - from left to right a couple of dancing bears, a drum-playing bear, a double-bass playing bear, a cycling bear, and a couple of roller-skating bears. The background of the panel is green; the bears are depicted in brown and cream, and the panel is outlined by two brown lines. Words in the centre of the panel in lower and upper case lettering, read: 'Cains Sophisticated BEARS GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH'

The maker's mark on the base is 'Biltons Coloroll England'. Coloroll Ceramics Group bought Biltons Tableware in June 1986. Coloroll went into receivership in June 1990.
