Triptych depicting famous kabuki actors in a melange of scenes from the drama 'Chushingura'. Each scene separated by screens so that the various acts take place in different rooms. Some of the action is taking place outside: in the middle back two figures are fighting on a small hill, and at the right back corner two women are looking out into the distance in front of Mount Fuji.
