Quarterly 1 & 4, Or a lion rampant sable (for Juliers); in pretence: argent 3 chevrons gules (for Ravensberg); 2 & 3, argent a lion rampant gules langued and crowned azure (for Berg); crests of Berg (peacock feathers) and Juliers (a demi-hound erased or, gorged or winged sable).
