To the left is a group of four figures sitting or standing around a leather sofa and armchair. To the centre rear is a raised platform with hospital screens, and two figures seated at the right.

Object history | This set design by Rouben Ter-Arutunian was purchased by the Theatre Museum from an auction of the late Sir John Gielgud's effects at Sotheby's on April 5th 2001. The design was executed for a production of Edward Albee's play "All Over" performed at the Martin Beck Theater, New York in 1971. The production was directed by Sir John Gielgud, and the cast included Jessica Tandy, Colleen Dewhurst, and Hume Cronyn. |
