Place of origin

The production of multi-neck vases for cut flowers appears to decrease at the end of the rule of Shah Abbas II (1642-1666). This period is characterized by a renewed vigour in the painting, which combines foreign elements in the design borrowed from Chinese Transitional wares, with a uniquily Iranian form.
