Stained glass design for a three light window surmounted by two quatrefoils and a cinquefoil. The symbols for Alpha and Omega are depicted in the quatrefoils which are surmounted by the symbol of the Holy Spirit in the cinquefoil. Christ blessing and enthroned in Heaven is in the central light. He is flanked by worshipping angels in the lights on either side. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, a walled city and a saint kneeling beside the standing figure of an archangel pointing towards Christ are depicted from left to right at the bottom of each light. The design is on a large sheet of cream-coloured paper framed in dark grey card. The frame is attached to the paper of the design itself.

Object history
This stained glass design, (one of 32) was in the collection of the late B.D.H. Miller who bequeathed them to the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. Timothy Wilson, Keeper of Western Art, Ashmolean Museum gave them to the Victoria and Albert Museum.

The designs were lot 320 in the sale of the contents of Towne Furlong Farm, Phillips, Oxford, sales catalogue, Thursday, 13 June 1991.
