Stained glass design of St.Christopher carrying the Christ Child across a river. The rays of the sun radiate from the Christ Child's halo and fill the background. The design is drawn in pen and ink and watercolour on a cream-coloured sheet of paper and mounted on to a small rectangular piece of card. There is a dark, grey frame around the front of the design. The frame is attached to the back of the design, itself, by masking tape.

Object history
This stained glass design, (one of 32) was in the collection of the late B.D.H. Miller who bequeathed them to the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. Timothy Wilson, Keeper of Western Art, Ashmolean Museum gave them to the Victoria and Albert Museum.

The designs were lot 320 in the sale of the contents of Towne Furlong Farm, Phillips, Oxford, sales catalogue, Thursday, 13 June 1991.
