Parvanatha sits in Padmasana in the meditating position under a seven hooded snake-canopy on a cushion on a lion-throne on which a snake, the symbol (lanchana) of the Tirthankara is shown in the middle. He is attended upon by two male figures, one on each side, each holding a fly-whisk (camara), and below them on each side two deities, also attended upon each by a female figure, are shown, the deity at the proper right is a male, perhaps Kubera., and the deity at the proper left is a female, perhaps Ambika. On top, on each side of the snake-canopy, there is each a flying garland-bearer (maladhara) and above that, close to the umbrellas, two elephants are shown, one on each side, poring water on the head of the Tirthankara. In the centre above round pots placed on branches are shown.

sam 1[3]31 vaisakha sudi 11 gurau sri-parsvanatha-bimbam pratisthitam ("Trans.: The image of the illustrious Parsvanatha was installed on Thursday, on the 11th day of the bright half of (the month of) Vaisakha (April), (in the Vikrama) year 1233 ( i.e 1176 AD.).
