Hans Holbein (after), 1 of 2 plates from a suite of 4(?) designs for daggers and scabbards, etched by Hollar after an original drawing by Holbein in the collection of the Earl of Arundel. Antwerp, 1645.

Object history
Two of the plates from this suite were etched in London, in 1644, and the other two in Antwerp, in 1645. The original Holbein drawings on which Hollar based his etchings, from the Arundel Collection, are now lost.
