Production | The print states that it is made after an original painting by 'Wouverman' - it is probable that this refers to Philips Wouvermann as he specialized in military and hunting scenes in which horses are prominent. I. C. Zeitter could possibly be John Christian Zeitter, a British genre painter and engraver, active 1824, died 1862. |
