Physical description

Whole-length portrait, on horseback, directed towards right and looking to front. The sitter is holding a baton in his right hand, which rests on the saddle; on the right is a page, carrying his helmet. A battle takes place in the background. The portrait is surrounded by an ornamental border; arms in centre, below, and, underneath, the title in two lines.
