Object history
Etching made by HRH Princess Royal, Charlotte Augusta Matilda (1766-1828), eldest daughter of George III. These etchings belonged to Miss Mary Dacre, lady in charge of the Royal children, who is mainly remembered for her support of 'Royal' (as the Princess Royal was known) with her speech impediment.
