Rectangular linen tea-cosy with an embroidery of a cross-legged man holding a bowl in shades of grey, green, yellow and orange. The figure is divided in two with China embroidered on the left and India on the right and his clothing is varied accordingly. A row of sequins is embroidered down either side. On the back are the maker's initials (L M D) and an embroidered flowering plant.
