Object history | This wig design by Michael Warre is part of an extensive collection of designs purchased by the Theatre Museum directly from the artist Alix Stone in 1994. The design was executed for a production of William Shakespeare's play "Richard", performed by the Old Vic Company at the New Theatre, April 23rd 1947. The production was directed by Ralph Richardson, and starred Alec Guinness as Richard II. |
