Place of origin

Projected costume design by Alix Stone for Roderigo in Othello, Young Vic Theatre, 1 October 1975.

Alix Stone has attributed this design to Romeo and Juliet but the character, who she describes as 'Rodrigo', does not appear in this play. Stone did design Romeo and Juliet for the Young Vic in 1977 but that production was performed in modern dress. The design is more likely to have been made for the 1975 Young Vic production of Othello.
