Full length female dancer with black hair dressed in traditional 'ballet' style, standing on pointe with left arm bent to behind head and right arm held out from shoulder, wearing a low necked, knee length ballet dress with pink long-line bodice, cut in deep scallops at lower hem, the neck and bodice edged green. The dress is open down the front to below waist, revealing a loosely pleated white blouse. The cap sleeves, knee-length skirt and hair decoration are in white and white blouse and knee-length skirt. The legs tinted pale pink and the shoes pink. Pencil, watercolour and gouache.
