Marks and inscriptions	'English, 19th cen.; signed (signature illegible)' (Note on back of mount, not on drawing itself.) 'The drawing was formerly ascribed to E. Becker (worked c.1793-1810) and bears some stylistic resemblance to his works. The apparent signature seems, however, to have no relation to the artist'sn ame.' (Note on back of mount, not on drawing itself.) 'Anonymous: Gardens' (Written on external mount.)
