Fashion plate. 1836-38. Mostly men's dress, with a couple of women and three children. The upper row shows an indoor scene, with a man sitting at a writing table talking to another man, a woman in a black riding habit talking to a woman in a brown cloak and yellow bonnet with two small boys in tunic frocks over long trousers, and a third man talking to a boy to the right. Behind them is a pink chaise longue. The lower row shows seven men outdoors, including one in a hunting coat to the far right. Most of the other men are in overcoats, one is wearing a long cloak lined with pink silk. All wear top-hats.
