Production | J. C. Smith states that the lettering describes Bishop Moore as Bishop of Ely, a See which he held from 1707 until his death in 1714. This impression, therefore, indicates an earlier state of the plate, executed between 1691 and 1707 the years in which he held the See of Norwich. |
