Lady Dundas is wearing a bonnet adorned with feathers, holding a drawing in her left hand and a set of spectacles in the other. Lord Dundas wears a dark coat with buttons and is holding a small box in his left hand. Behind them, to the right, is standing the Hon. J. C. Dundas, facing half left, resting his right arm on a plinth and holding a hat.
