Physical description

Print, double portrait of two men, head and shoulders. Rubens is on the left, facing slightly right; Van Dyck is on the right, facing half left. The portraits are surrounded by an elaborate double frame with letters which stands on a plinth. In the centre of the frame is a lion with a globe crowned with laurels by two putti, one of whom holds a palette and brushes; above are the heads of Apollo and Minerva with symbols; above in each corner is a putto blowing a trumpet, in the bottom left corner is fruit, and in the bottom right, flowers.
