Print, portrait of a man, head and shoulders, facing half right and wearing armour and a cloak. The portrait is surrounded by a border surmounted by a star encircled by a serpent, a globe with a winged crown of leaves, and a broken oar with a serpent, and is flanked on each side by a palm, a trumpet and a torch. Below, seated on each side of the pedestal, is an angel; the one on the left with an owl, is holding a lance and a shield decorated with a gorgon’s head, the one on the right is holding a lion’s skin. Behind is drapery with swags of fruit.
