Physical description

Representation of the rewards of virtue and the consequences of vice. A man stands under the span of a pair of compasses within a circular border with lettering; in the corner are scenes showing the miseries of vice, a ship being tossed about on the high seas, and faces behind the bars of a prison. Lettered with title and 'Keep Within Compass And You Shall Be Sure, To Avoid Many Troubles Which Others Endure' and 'Industry Produces Wealth'.
