The design shows a night scene with a ‘toff’ in a black and white-topped top hat and dress coat, looking through a telescope at a bright light on top of a hill in the distance. His servant is wearing a brown bowler hat and sandy coloured car-coat with a red scarf and is pointing at the mantel.
