One of 37 sheets with copies of frescoes and mosaics originally by several artists including Raphael, Gianfrancesco Penni, Francesco Salviati and other artists. They are copied from Santa Maria del Popolo, Santa Maria della Pace and the Villa Farnesina, Rome.
A depiction of 'Summer' as female figure, almost fully nude and sat on the floor facing away from the viewer but with her head turned, looking over her shoulder. She wears a crown made of wheat, holds a bunch of wheat in her hand and there are bundles of wheat next to her.
