The print depicts dark brown-black figurative forms, with highlights in white and tones of grey, positioned to one side, silhouetted against a background of rows of grey undulating lines. These represent waves, becoming thicker and closer together in the trough, which is shaded in grey, and lighter and more spaced out in the peak, toned in a lighter grey. The print is described by the artist as an impression in 'hard grey'.
