Object history
This was a Christmas present in 1933 or 1934, given to the donor by her Aunt Alice.
Historical context
This type of doll was used by the Singer Sewing Machine Company as a model for clothes sewn on their machines.
My Dream Baby dolls were registered in 1924/5 and made in both bisque and composition (usually later in date) and in four colours. 351 = open mouthed version
