Male marionette figure representing one of the characters (possibly Puck) in the play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. It is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, knees and ankles. The joints are all metal. There are small metal attachments for the strings on the head, back, upper arms and thighs, with holes in the hands for similar attachment. There are several pieces of black stringing remaining. The figure wears a sleeveless and backless rabbit skin short tunic and a cap on the head of the same material. The legs and feet are bare. The facial features are boldly carved and painted with orange lips and brown eyes. The ears are pointed.
