Female marionette figure representing one of the female fairy characters in the play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. It is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, knees and ankles. The joints are all metal. There are small metal attachments for the strings on the head, back, upper arms and thighs, with holes in the hands for similar attachment. There are several pieces of black stringing remaining. The figure wears a sleeveless and backless grey blue chiffon dress the ends of which have been cut into strips. There are additions of grey chiffon strips dotted with white to the skirt part of the dress. There is a pale pink tassel decoration around the waist and across one breast. There is a pair of greenish transluscent wings attached to the figure's back. The legs and feet are bare. The facial features are boldly carved and painted with orange lips and blue eyes. The hair is long grey thread and is decorated with felt leaves and flowers.
