This sampler is the work of an experienced embroiderer who used it to record stitches, motifs and patterns for future reference. The original colours have faded.

Physical description

Sampler, linen embroidered with silk in double running variations and combinations and musabak stitch.
Pale, faded colurs which are now predominantly browns and blues.There are short embroidered inscriptions.
