Wood, carved gilt and covered in a mosaic of mirror glass set in thitsi-lacquer in the thayo (relief-moulded) and hman-zi shwei-cha glass inlay technique.
Brief description
Burmese doorway of wood, carved, gilt and covered with a mosaic of mirror glass set in lacquer. Konbaung Dynasty (1752-1885). Decorated in a network of floral and foliate patterns.
