This is both a constructional toy and learning tool. The box contains 45 wedge shaped wooden blocks for building a circular cottage. Thirty-two of the pieces have lithographed pieces of paper with letters of the alphabet, a door and windows. The other 13 are painted and form the base, roof and chimney. The box is covered with dark paper decorated with chinoiserie designs. There is a yellow label on the lid with a picture of a family making the cottage.
