Physical description

Woven silk damask with areas of cut silk velvet. Cream warp-faced satin ground with white, weft-faced, diagonally arranged, slender stems, buds and tendrils. There are larger circular blossoms forming clumps along the stems; these are filled with cream velvet. The stems are aligned from lower left to upper right.
The ends have been oversewn.
