The red and gold electrolier (elaborate standard lamp stand) is in seven parts.
It is modelled upon the hti (temple umbrella-canopy)of a Burmese Pagoda and comprises the umbrella-canopy, the hnge-mana (the finial with wind vane) and terminating in a seimbu (the orb). The whole is supported on a cylindrical shaft resting on a cross-shaped foot. The canopy "ribs" and supports in the form of dragons, from whose mouths formerly issued electric bulbs. The shaft is ornamented with scrolling foliate brackets.

Wrought iron on a wood base, lacquered and gilded with glass inlay (hman-zi shwei-cha). The decoration is rendered in elaborate open-work.
