This spoon is part of a set of six teaspoons and a pair of sugar tongs housed in a special case. This set was assembled after 1895 when Elkingtons opened a retail branch in Manchester. These boxed sets made attractive and useful presents.

Teaspoon, Fiddle pattern. Oval bowl with shoulders, typical of fiddle pattern, with tapering stem and rectangular, cut away handle.
