Print
1651 (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

Etching and drypoint depicting a scene in a room with a paved floor, a man holding a stick, walks left towards the wall. A doorway is in the same wall but behind him. In the background is a fireplace, next to which is a rush-seated chair and a spinning(?) wheel, the latter knocked over. A dog is playing around the man's feet. There is a lamp shining above the door, and inside the fireplace is a sconce and some objects (meat?) hanging high above the fire.
