Physical description

Stipple engravings, coloured by hand, depicting an example of costume in Turkey, with descriptive text in English and in French. Full bound in green morocco. Each plate lettered variously 'Octavian Dalvimart, Delin.' or 'Octavian Dalvimart, delt.' and with engraver's name. There are no titles on the plates but each is numbered. Many of the plates are watermarked 'Ruse & Turner's 1805'.
