Physical description

Lithograph, tinted with one or in some cases two tint stones, from 'Views On The Nile From Cairo To The Second Cataract'. Volume of plates (32), including title page, with descriptive text by Samuel Birch. Quarter bound in blue morocco. Each plate lettered with title. Most plates numbered.
The unillustrated title page states that the views were drawn on stone by George Moore. According to the List Of Plates (which does not include the title page, and in which Pls.10 and 11 appear to be transposed), Pls.3, 4, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 20 22, 24 28, and 30, are after sketches by Owen Jones, the rest after sketches by Jules Goury.
